The Role:

As an integral team member of Accounting here at Elite, you’ll be responsible for processing accounting transactions, preparation of reconciliations, compiling and analyzing financial reports, providing ad hoc analysis, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, and providing general accounting support to the Accounting Manager. We’re looking for a highly-organized, accountable team player who operates with efficiency, urgency, and discipline.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare journal entries and underlying analysis to support the month-end close process
  • Perform reconciliations of data from other sources and systems to the general ledger for completeness of reports
  • Prepare various deliverables to support the preparation of the financial statements and/or requests for information from all business functions
  • Prepare the monthly budget actual analysis and investigate variances
  • Perform research for technical accounting purposes
  • Compile analysis/reports for the quarterly reviews, annual audit, tax return preparation or other audits
  • Assist with/lead any other ad hoc analysis or analytics as needed

Who you are:

A detail-oriented and experienced professional. You have worked in the technology space or a subscription type business and have the insights to learn and excel quickly. You must be comfortable in a fast-paced, fluid environment. You will enthusiastically take on other assignments as needed to support your team.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in accounting, business or finance
  • 6-10 years of accounting experience specifically focused on SaaS or subscription companies
  • Solid understanding of general accounting processes, internal controls, and financial analysis tools
  • Proficiency in Excel formulas, vlookups, and pivot tables
  • Experience with top tier ERP and related reporting applications

 

Bonus points for:

Public company experience at a Big 4 firm, CPA is strongly preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION
The mission of Elite’s sales & systems engineer is to support sales executives with systems related questions and information. This position will provide our sales team with estimates and help to pre-engineer complex integrated systems including:
  • Access Control
  • Video Surveillance
  • Intercom
  • Communications wireless networks
This position will also assist with project take-offs, specification interpretation, conceptual drawing creation, and the development and drive of Elite’s engineering standards.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Accurately estimates labor and material job costs and provides technical support and advice to Sales and Operations teams
  • Act as an external liaison working with clients maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain engineering design and pricing resources for field sales teams
  • With sales, operations and project managers, complete site walk-throughs to determine specific client needs and ensure project requirements are met including safety standards
  • Design complex integrated systems including Access Control, Video Surveillance, Network Infrastructure, Intercom, wireless communications
  • Assist sales by providing project labor and equipment costs, counts, ensuring part number accuracy and assembling permit packages
  • Value projects by product and installation and assists in developing project scope documents (prime to subcontractors and vice versa).
  • Provide operational and troubleshooting advice as needed
  • Provide subcontractor assistance by evaluating customer site system requirements and accurate job estimates
  • Research and develop alternative, improved solutions when possible
  • Maintain all job folders
  • Facilitate project closure turnover meetings between assigned sales and operations employees
  • Stay abreast of and educate others on new product information
  • Develop and maintain resources for sales and operations team including technical library, cut sheets, manuals, and vendor product information
  • Assist in establishing pricing including verification of subcontractor/vendor costs
  • Represent Elite to community, professional, and governmental groups including interaction with federal, state, and local officials and professional organization representatives
  • Maintains and increases technical knowledge and competence in company products, applications, and services

Direct report to Director of Client Relations

Job Summary

The Client Relations Manager will be expected to carry out & manage efforts in relation to Elite’s customer service goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will understand how to generate sales from existing clients through various strategies such as expanding security coverage, up-selling, and more. This position will work closely with the company’s Director of Client Relations and aid in the implementation of “In-House” sales & customer service, helping ensure that service delivery has a positive impact on overall customer satisfaction. The Client Relations Manager will manage interactions with customers to improve client relations and ensure their expectations are being met and exceeded. This position will also work closely with sales and operations to ensure the team is providing quality & timely responses to client needs and expectations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage implementation of new or improved business processes.
  • Coordinate communication of any changes/modifications between department heads using appropriate communication tools
  • Administer the development and management of current “In House” clients
  • Develop opportunities to expand sales through existing client base
  • Carry out strategies to build upon existing client security needs
  • Coordinate meetings with current “In House” accounts in-person biannually
  • Operate bi-annual client business reviews
  • Oversee the creation of an effective contract renewal “process”
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, & other departments to continually improve client satisfaction
  • Support the Director of Client Relations in planning, design, and development of department goals
  • Analyze, review, and monitor current & future performance reporting systems
  • Support all departments to meet financial goals
  • Work with Director of Client Relations to ensure all company policy and procedure manuals are up to date
  • Create weekly snapshot of activities & projects for Director of Client Relations
  • Understand and support the company’s goals and objectives
  • Carry out and contribute to corporate strategic planning as required
