ELITE PROVIDES RARE LOOK INTO LOCAL COMMAND CENTER TO LOS ANGELES BOMA MEMBERS

Elite ISI opened their doors to BOMA Los Angeles (Building Owners and Managers Association) members for a couple of hours this week, providing a rare and unique view into their state-of-the-art Command Center located in a secured facility near downtown Los Angeles.

Key representatives from BOMA including; Charles Dunn, Worthe Real Estate, Western Senior Housing, Red Cross, and more learned about how Remote Guarding is revolutionizing the security industry by providing greater effectiveness at substantially lower costs to building owners and managers.

BOMA members viewed live sites in real time to see first hand how Elite ISI is generating loss prevention levels never before seen. Elite’s brand of Remote guarding turns traditional CCTV cameras into “smart” digital guards that detect and alert Elite’s trained agents of potential criminal activity, allowing them to proactively stop the crime from occurring by speaking to trespassers through speakers on the site, Guests also saw how Elite is working closely with local law enforcement to generate the fastest police response possible.

At Elite’s open house, BOMA members learned how Elite’s Remote Agents use a combination of technology, software and processes to monitor client sites across the country to prevent crime.

During the open house, Jordan Lippel, who previously ran Southern California’s Allied Barton Security Guard Services, explained how Elite ISI and Remote Guarding are effectively securing facilities while also solving many of the problems brought on by traditional security guards and doing all of this at less than half the cost.

In addition to the live demo, those in attendance were treated to world famous pastrami sandwiches from Langer’s Deli a local institution.

Questions from BOMA members during the open house

Q. What types of properties does Elite secure using Remote Guarding.

A. Elite provides Remote Guarding to all types of properties including but not limited to; multi-tenant residential, Office buildings, HOAs, warehouses, mixed-use developments, corporate campuses, schools, hospitals, and auto dealerships to name a few. A number of client testimonials can be seen on our website at http://eliteisi.com.

Q. I have a Burglary Alarm, and Cameras that are recorded on my site, is that enough?

A. Alarms are a low priority response for law enforcement due to their high false alarm rate (see “New Report Signals End to Nation’s False Alarm Fiasco”) and cameras are only good for looking back at a crime that has already occurred if they are even working properly and positioned in the right place to capture the details that you need to see what happened.

Q. Can I use my existing analog or IP cameras?

A. Yes. Often your existing CCTV system and surveillance system can be incorporated into a Remote Guarding solution.

Q. I have several guards do I need to keep them?

A. It depends. Often we can help you replace your guards completely to save a lot of money. And where guards provide certain tasks that are not practical within the scope of Remote Guarding, we design a system that is a “force multiplier” that works to increase the effectiveness and often reduces the cost of your guarding company.

Q. Can I integrate Access Control into the Remote Guarding service?

A. Yes.

Q. If the analytics detect activity, does Elite record the event for future prosecution?

A. Yes, we store the critical events and can send captured images to you and the Police with your authority.

Q. Can I, along with the Police have access to the live video feeds?

A. Yes, you can access live video from all connected cameras and with your permission the Police can view the site live from any Internet connected device.

Q. Is there any reporting of activity on my site?

A. Yes, we send daily reports by e-mail, and can notify authorized staff by phone or text as well. Elite follows your pre-defined protocol to notify staff when serious issues occur.

Q. Is there a cost for Elite to come to my site and provide a detailed security analysis?

A. No. We will perform a forensic analysis of your selected facility and provide you with an engineered security solution. You will see how Remote Guarding works to increase your security while reducing your security costs.
